TechFlow reports that the Metis Foundation will partner with Gitcoin to support its $4 million annual grant program aimed at fostering innovation and development within the Metis ecosystem.
The first round of grants hosted by Gitcoin launched today (August 29), distributing 3,000 METIS (equivalent to $100,000) through Quadratic Funding (QF).
QF is a crowdfunding mechanism that rewards projects based on the number of unique donors. Gitcoin has allocated over $60 million to date. Projects must focus on growing the Metis ecosystem, and builders can apply for grants via Gitcoin to receive ongoing support.
