TechFlow news, according to Xinhua News Agency, Paris prosecutors announced on the 28th that Pavel Durov, founder and CEO of the social media platform Telegram, who was previously arrested in France, has been formally charged after being released from custody. He has been granted bail under judicial supervision but is prohibited from leaving France.
Laurie Becco, Paris prosecutor, said in a press release that Durov was charged on the evening of the 28th. He has been released on bail under judicial supervision on condition of paying a five million euro deposit, reporting to the police twice a week, and being banned from leaving French territory.
