TechFlow News, August 27 — According to The Block, Web3 gaming studio Gameplay Galaxy has announced an extended seed round of $11.17 million, bringing its valuation to $71 million. The round was co-led by Blockchain Capital and Merit Circle. Following the initial $12.8 million seed funding in September 2022, Gameplay Galaxy's total raised capital now reaches $24 million.
Founded in 2022 by Doron Kagan, creator of the Trial Xtreme series, Gameplay Galaxy is currently developing its first Web3 game, Trial Xtreme Freedom. The game will integrate NFTs and a token-based economy, enabling players to own tracks, host races, and earn tokens. It is scheduled for official release in the first quarter of 2025, with token distribution launching concurrently.
