TechFlow reports that Lido DAO has passed Vote 178 and a Snapshot vote to introduce an on-chain delegation and representative incentive program. The program establishes a public representative platform aimed at streamlining governance processes, increasing participation, and enhancing decision-making transparency.
The six-month pilot representative incentive program will distribute a total of $150,000 in LDO tokens to active representatives who meet performance criteria. Token holders retain full control over their votes and may override decisions made by their representatives. The program will launch on September 19 (Beijing time) and run until March 18, 2025.
Eligible representatives must hold delegations of over 2 million LDO on Aragon and Snapshot, and can receive up to $15,000 in LDO rewards every three months. To ensure smooth operation of the system, a Representative Oversight Committee will be formed to evaluate representative performance and distribute incentives.
