TechFlow reported, citing well-known KOL Mario Nawfal, that Telegram founder Pavel Durov will appear in court on Saturday evening facing multiple serious charges, including terrorism, drug trafficking, fraud, money laundering, and child abuse content. French media reported that Durov, a dual citizen of France and Russia, could face up to 20 years in prison.
It is understood that Durov's arrest is related to Telegram's lack of content moderation and his failure to cooperate with French law enforcement authorities. These charges stem from a search warrant issued by the French National Judicial Police.
