TechFlow news — BadgerDAO yesterday announced the launch of the Badger Grants Program, supported by Gitcoin, with a $250,000 funding pool aimed at supporting community-driven growth of Bitcoin in the DeFi space.
The program's primary objectives include: supporting projects that enhance the eBTC protocol ecosystem, discovering new ideas and talents that add value to the DAO, and encouraging innovation around bringing Bitcoin into DeFi.
Applicant projects should focus on at least one of the following areas: increasing the utility of $BADGER, improving Bitcoin integration in DeFi, Bitcoin L2 solutions, rollups or mining innovations, and development on or parallel products based on the eBTC protocol.
Application requirements include: having a clear and achievable roadmap, being open to community feedback, requesting funding between $1,000 and $100,000, and agreeing to milestone-based payment terms. Applicants must post their proposals on the Badger DAO governance forum, after which they will be reviewed by the Treasury Council and submitted to the Gitcoin Grants Stack team.
