TechFlow News — UK-based web3 gaming company Nexus Interactive has announced the completion of a $2 million seed funding round, with investors including Animoca Brands, Jump Crypto, Maven Capital, GameFi Ventures, Sky Vision Capital, Avocado Guild, Good Games Guild, and RR2 Capital.
Founded three years ago, Nexus Interactive comprises an in-house game development studio called Nexus Play, a publisher and accelerator named Nexus Build, and an AI-powered UGC initiative known as Nexus Share. The company's flagship game, Everdawn Champions (formerly Aradena Battlegrounds), is set to launch in September 2024 as part of a medieval strategy game universe. Nexus revealed that two additional games are currently in development: Snap Royale and Kingdoms of Conquest. Furthermore, the company plans to release titles developed by third-party partner studios.
Nexus' ecosystem token, NXI, is scheduled to launch later in 2024.
