TechFlow news — HTX Ventures has recently announced a strategic investment in Corn, a new Ethereum Layer 2 network purpose-built for real-world Bitcoin applications. Corn not only supports native BTC cross-chain bridging but also uses BTC as its gas token and integrates leading protocols' DeFi applications, addressing Bitcoin's immediate needs in the DeFi space.
Corn recently closed a $6.7 million seed round led by Polychain Capital. The founding team comprises seasoned DeFi builders with prior experience launching projects such as Badger, Code4rena, Slingshot, and 0xBow.
