TechFlow News — On August 16, GAMEE, the Web3 gaming platform under Animoca Brands, announced receiving investment from TON Ventures, the first venture fund launched by The Open Network (TON). This investment will strengthen GAMEE's WATCoin ecosystem, including the WatBird Mini App project. GAMEE plans to further integrate TON-based digital assets such as TON-based tokens and NFTs to enhance user engagement.
To date, over 4 million players have connected to GAMEE’s WatBird Mini App via TON wallets. The company intends to expand its presence within the TON gaming ecosystem by launching WATCoin soon and attracting more games and Web3 communities, GameFi investors, and Telegram users. Bozena Rezab, co-founder of GAMEE, stated that this move will enrich the gaming experience on Telegram and help bring 90 million Telegram players into the TON ecosystem.
