TechFlow reported on August 16, according to Coindesk, that digital payment platform Flexa has launched a tool called Flexa Components, enabling retailers to accept cryptocurrency payments such as USDC at the point of sale. Flexa stated the tool supports multiple cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin and Ethereum, and has partnered with well-known retailers such as Chipotle, Mikimoto, Regal Cinemas, and 99 Ranch Market. Users can pay by scanning a QR code via mobile wallets or through integrated payment systems, enabling direct transactions without fees. Flexa CEO Daniel McCabe said Components is designed to simplify the integration and use of digital currencies, serving as a bridge between traditional payment systems and new financial technologies.
