TechFlow news, on August 16, according to analysis by OKG Research at OKLink Institute, based on OKLink on-chain data, the cumulative net outflow of large-value BTC transactions (USD 5 million or more) over the past seven days reached 59,006 BTC (referring to outflows from the blockchain to centralized exchanges). Estimated using this week's average price, this amounts to approximately USD 3.481 billion, representing a 48.35% decrease compared to the previous seven-day period.
In addition, the total holdings of the Top 100 Bitcoin whales slightly decreased from 15.55% in the prior seven days to 15.54%. However, the aggregate holdings of the Top 10, Top 20, and Top 50 Bitcoin whales increased: rising from 5.95% to 5.99% (Top 10), from 8.72% to 8.77% (Top 20), and from 12.56% to 12.58% (Top 50), respectively.
