TechFlow reports that Rome Protocol is dedicated to providing shared sequencers and data availability (DA) services for Ethereum Layer-2 blockchains by leveraging Solana as a supporting network. The protocol aims to optimize complex transaction processing and large-scale data management for decentralized applications (dApps), making the Ethereum ecosystem more efficient and reliable.
This funding round also saw participation from prominent investors including Hack VC, P2 Ventures, HashKey, Portal Ventures, and Bankless Ventures, among other notable angel investors.
