TechFlow news, according to Bloomberg, Shobhit Maini, Citi Group's global head of digital assets in markets, has left the bank and plans to pursue new opportunities in the cryptocurrency industry.
According to an internal memo sent last week by Lee Smallwood, head of market innovation and investments at Citi Group, Maini departed to "pursue entrepreneurial opportunities in the digital asset space."
Maini had worked at Citi Group for over 14 years and most recently led the digital assets team within the markets division.
