TechFlow reports that the blockchain project Canto has officially announced the network has been paused by validators due to unexpected secondary effects following the upgrade to version v8. The issue originated from abnormal proposer priority settings.
The Canto team stated that Bharvest is building and testing a v8.1.0 upgrade compatible with the current state, which will automatically handle proposer priority settings correctly. It is expected that in approximately 15 hours, validators will resume block production on the upgraded and fixed V8 Canto version.
Canto emphasized that all funds remain secure. Once the chain resumes operations, users will be able to access all activities as usual.
