TechFlow news: X platform (formerly Twitter) owner Elon Musk tweeted that the platform appears to be experiencing a large-scale distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack. Musk said the team is working hard to mitigate the attack.
He also mentioned that in the worst case, they will reduce the number of live listeners and release the new conversation afterward. Musk stated that the live session will proceed as scheduled at 8:30 a.m. Beijing time on August 13 (8:30 p.m. Eastern Time in the U.S.), but with limits on the number of concurrent listeners. After the live stream ends, they will immediately release the full unedited audio. Musk also revealed that their team had earlier tested whether the system could support up to 8 million simultaneous listeners.
