TechFlow news, according to Axios citing two sources, the latest assessment by Israel's intelligence community is that Iran has decided to directly attack Israel in retaliation for the assassination of Hamas political leader Haniyeh.
The attack could occur within days and might even happen before August 15, prior to the Gaza hostage negotiations.
In addition, Hamas stated in a statement that it had communicated its position to mediators including Egypt, Qatar, and the United States, demanding that discussions on a plan for exchanging detained individuals and a ceasefire agreement be based on the consensus reached on July 2 and relevant UN Security Council resolutions, rather than initiating new negotiations. The statement also emphasized that Hamas had demonstrated "full flexibility and willingness" toward enabling the talks.
