TechFlow news: Venezuela's electoral authority has announced that incumbent President Nicolás Maduro won the presidential election, but the opposition party also claimed victory. The Maduro government has become heavily reliant on cryptocurrencies, largely due to the country's dire economic situation, international sanctions, and the exodus of nearly 8 million citizens over the past decade.
The electoral authority stated that Maduro secured 51% of the vote, while opposition candidate Edmundo González received 44%.
