TechFlow reports that Portal, a non-custodial Bitcoin interoperability protocol, has announced major strategic partnerships with Bitlayer, Sovryn, and Tari, and is preparing to launch its incentivized testnet. By innovatively combining the Lightning Network and atomic swaps, Portal offers users a revolutionary, fully decentralized way to access Bitcoin liquidity. The platform operates without reliance on centralized intermediaries or custodians, ensuring users retain full control over their assets.
Bitlayer, as a Bitcoin sidechain/L2 solution, will provide Portal with faster transaction speeds and enhanced privacy features.
Sovryn will integrate its Bitcoin-backed stablecoin DLLR into the Portal DEX, enabling one-click trading with native BTC without bridging, wrapping, or custody.
Tari’s integration will expand the tokenization and trading possibilities for digital assets, allowing users to seamlessly trade various digital assets with Bitcoin serving as the settlement layer.
