TechFlow news — Elon Musk has launched a community poll on X (formerly Twitter), asking whether Tesla should invest $5 billion in his artificial intelligence company, xAI.
Musk stated the proposal is based on a valuation of xAI that has been established by several credible external investors. He emphasized that this is merely a test vote, and any actual decision would still require approval from Tesla's board of directors and shareholder voting. As of publication, over 67,877 people have participated in the poll, with 72.1% supporting the investment proposal.
