TechFlow reports that, according to on-chain analyst Yujin's monitoring, as of now, Mt. Gox has transferred 56,452.9 BTC (worth $3.558 billion) to exchanges designated for compensation distribution. There are five exchanges handling the Mt. Gox BTC payout: Bitbank, SBI VC Trade, Kraken, Bitstamp, and BitGo. The process involves transferring BTC from Mt. Gox addresses to these respective exchanges, which then carry out the actual distribution.
Since July 5th, detailed data on Mt. Gox BTC transfers into payout exchanges:
July 5: 1,544.6 BTC transferred to Bitbank;
July 5: 1,157 BTC transferred to SBI VC Trade;
July 16: 48,641.2 BTC transferred to Kraken;
July 22: 5,110.1 BTC transferred to Bitstamp.
In total, 141,685 BTC are allocated by Mt. Gox for compensation, with approximately 85,000 BTC still awaiting future transfer and distribution.
