TechFlow reports that the token distribution protocol Layer3 Foundation has announced in its official Discord community the launch of the initial L3 token allocation checker on July 24, though tokens will not go live on that date. The Layer3 Foundation stated it has been actively gathering community feedback and building a token economic model aligned with Layer3's long-term development.
Previous report: The Layer3 Foundation unveiled the L3 tokenomics, revealing a total supply of 3,333,333,333 L3 tokens. Of these, 51% (1.69 billion L3) is reserved for the community, and 25.3% (843 million L3) is allocated to core contributors. At TGE, the initial airdrop will account for 7.5% of the total supply—200 million L3 (6%) distributed to early users and S1 participants, and 50 million L3 (1.5%) allocated to S2 participants.
The snapshot for early users and S1 was taken on May 10, 2024, while the S2 snapshot will be conducted on July 22. Users can simply enter their primary address to check their allocation without needing to perform transactions or sign messages. The Layer3 Foundation warns users to stay vigilant against phishing attacks and strongly advises verifying information through multiple channels, prioritizing security.
