TechFlow news: The Aethir Foundation has announced a $50 million community rewards program. Due to the temporary suspension of the token swap initiative with IO.net, these ATH tokens will be used to reward active participants within the Aethir community.
Of this amount, $20 million in ATH tokens will be distributed to users holding Checker Licenses, with all holders eligible for a minimum allocation of ATH. Bonus rewards will be granted to those who have staked at least 2,500 ATH per Checker License and have maintained continuous participation since TGE. Aethir will take daily snapshots to determine eligibility, with the final snapshot scheduled for July 23, 2024.
The remaining $30 million will be injected into the ATH-AI staking pool, distributed over 24 weeks to boost yields, enhance staking rewards, and support AI application development.
Aethir stated that the $50 million community rewards program marks a significant milestone toward a decentralized future in cloud computing. By reallocating resources originally intended for the io.net token swap, Aethir aims to accelerate the growth and development of its ecosystem. Aethir will continue its strategic partnership with IO.net to unlock the potential of distributed GPU computing.
