TechFlow news, former President Donald Trump said in an interview with Bloomberg Businessweek that cryptocurrency "is not going away. It's impressive." He added that he has "met a lot" of top figures from the crypto industry during his fundraising events. Once skeptical of cryptocurrencies, Trump told Bloomberg Businessweek that he changed his stance because "if we don't do it, China will take over, or other countries—but most likely China. China is taking this very seriously."
Trump stated that the U.S. crypto industry "has a good foundation. It's still like a baby right now. But I don't want other countries taking over this space."
According to new data from the Federal Election Commission (FEC) reported by The Wall Street Journal on Tuesday, about $3 million of the roughly $331 million raised by Trump’s campaign last quarter came from cryptocurrency donations.
