TechFlow News — Canadian publicly traded company Cypherpunk Holdings has significantly increased its holdings in Solana tokens, now owning over 63,000 SOL (worth nearly $14 million), and is operating its own Solana validator node with 49,917 SOL staked (approximately $11 million).
Newly appointed CEO Leah Wald stated that the Solana ecosystem presents substantial opportunities. Bitcoin remains Cypherpunk Holdings’ largest investment, which the company began acquiring in April 2019. Last month, it purchased approximately $1 million worth of Solana at an average price of $163.11 per token, while simultaneously selling nearly $1 million worth of shares in Animoca Brands.
Cypherpunk Holdings' total assets have increased by $14.3 million over the past six months, reaching $31.3 million. The company uses Coinbase as custodian for its BTC and SOL holdings and holds additional equity investments in Chia Network, hardware wallet NGRAVE, and Bitcoin mining operations.
