TechFlow news, according to the Wall Street Journal citing知情人士, Tesla CEO Elon Musk plans to donate $45 million per month to a super political action committee (PAC) supporting former President Trump, backing Trump's presidential campaign.
Although Musk had previously stated he would not donate to either Biden or Trump, he has recently publicly supported Trump and reaffirmed this stance following an attempted assassination. In addition to Musk, Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, as well as Palantir Technologies co-founder Joe Lonsdale, have also contributed to the PAC.
Musk has in the past donated to both Democratic and Republican parties, but in recent years his political leanings have clearly shifted rightward. After acquiring X (formerly Twitter) in 2022, he frequently criticized the Biden administration, further deepening his political involvement.
