TechFlow reports that Haruko, a UK-based digital asset investment management platform, has raised $6 million in a Series A funding round co-led by White Star Capital and MMC Ventures, bringing its total funding to $16 million. The investment will support Haruko’s expansion into Southeast Asia and strengthen its global market position. Sep Alavi, Partner at White Star Capital, said Haruko is leading the way in enabling institutions to embrace new opportunities in digital assets, and they are pleased to continue partnering with the company. Oliver Richards, Partner at MMC Ventures, commented that the post-trade segment of digital assets, which Haruko focuses on, has long been underserved, and they believe Haruko is well-positioned to address this gap.
Founded in 2021 by Shamyl Malik and others, Haruko offers comprehensive digital asset technology solutions for institutional clients, covering financial management, compliance, and other functions. The company has rapidly expanded across North America and Europe, serving over 50 investment management firms, with offices in London and Singapore.
