TechFlow news — On July 12, Compound founder and CEO Jayson Hobby announced on Twitter that he has stepped down alongside CTO Geoffrey Hayes and Vice President of Product Mykel Pereira to co-found a new DeFi protocol called Legend. Jayson Hobby stated that Legend's mission is to bring the next 100 million users onchain by building the world's best DeFi interface.
According to the announcement, Legend is a mobile-first decentralized finance protocol enabling users to instantly and seamlessly trade, earn, and borrow digital assets without relying on centralized intermediaries. The founding team emphasized that Legend will address blockchain's user experience challenges and drive the future development of DeFi.
