TechFlow reports on July 11 that the liquid staking protocol Lido has announced its Community Staking Module (CSM) testnet is now fully permissionless and open to all. The Community Staking Module is one of the initiatives launched by the Lido DAO aimed at enhancing decentralization and democratizing access to Ethereum staking. This module allows any node operator, especially community stakers, to join without permission and run validator nodes using the Lido protocol, with the goal of significantly expanding and diversifying Lido's set of operators.
Earlier report, Lido announced the launch of its Community Staking Module (CSM) testnet. The testnet is divided into two phases: an early adoption period and an open phase. The early adoption period has already begun, and it is expected to open to all node operators around mid-July.
