Blockchain data infrastructure Covalent has completed the token migration from CQT to CXT.
Covalent, a blockchain data infrastructure company, announced on X that its governance proposal regarding the "token transition from CQT to CXT and related changes" has been successfully approved, and the token migration has been completed. Key changes include: changing the token ticker from CQT to CXT; migrating the staking contract from CQT to CXT on Ethereum; transitioning future governance on Ethereum from CQT to CXT; and distributing CXT to all current CQT holders. Covalent stated that all tokens remained secure during the migration process. All token holders' CQT balances were automatically migrated to CXT at a 1:1 ratio. CQT trading was halted at 00:00 UTC on July 9, and CXT trading will resume after completion of the governance vote and migration.
