TechFlow reports that the EOS Network Foundation has announced a Spring 1.0 hard fork upgrade scheduled for September 25, 2024, which will reduce EOS transaction finality time from several minutes to just seconds. Infrastructure providers and technical partners must complete their upgrade preparations between September 5 and 24. To ensure a smooth transition, the Antelope Spring Beta has already been deployed on the Jungle Testnet through collaboration with CryptoLions and multiple block producers, and a bug bounty program has been launched offering rewards of up to 2,000 EOS.
