TechFlow news — Ethereum interoperability protocol Omni Network has announced the launch of a new feature, Streams, addressing developers' demand for faster and more flexible message passing. Streams offers two modes: Fast Mode is designed for low-value transactions requiring instant delivery, with messages arriving nearly instantly; Finality Mode is intended for high-value transactions requiring higher security, where messages are delivered after two epochs of confirmation on the Ethereum beacon chain—approximately 12 minutes.
Omni CTO Tyler Tarsi stated that Streams gives developers greater control and flexibility to meet diverse application needs. Omni is committed to providing developers with innovative solutions across all rollups.
