TechFlow news, K33 Research analysts say spot Ethereum ETFs are expected to launch in the U.S. on July 8, which could cause ETH to outperform BTC in the weeks following the launch.
Analysts Vetle Lunde and David Zimmerman said ETH ETFs are a "golden goose" for its price, while BTC faces selling pressure due to Mt. Gox's plan to return $8.5 billion worth of BTC to creditors. Although ETH has underperformed BTC over the past year, inflows from ETF investments are expected to boost ETH's price.
The analysts expect net inflows over the five months following the ETF launch to amount to 0.75–1% of ETH’s circulating supply.
