TechFlow news: At the Decipher 2024 conference in Barcelona, the Algorand Foundation announced the launch of a new tool called LiquidAuth. Described as a decentralized WalletConnect alternative, LiquidAuth is a decentralized, free-to-use, open-source, and blockchain-agnostic authentication solution. It leverages established standards and protocols to authenticate peer-to-peer communication between wallets and applications (apps or dApps), aiming to address the centralized risks associated with solutions like WalletConnect and provide users with enhanced security and privacy. Additionally, LiquidAuth reduces reliance on third parties when logging in via email or social accounts.
Decipher 2024, Algorand's annual ecosystem event, was held in Barcelona from June 26 to 27, serving as an efficient platform for developers within the Algorand ecosystem to exchange insights and explore future trends of the Algorand ecosystem.
