TechFlow news: According to official announcements, global fintech company Circle has joined Adan, the French and European association for digital assets and blockchain. As the issuer of USDC and EURC, Circle selected France as its European regulatory hub last year.
Coralie Billmann, Managing Director of Circle France, said joining Adan marks a significant step in advancing responsible innovation in France and Europe. Adan President Faustine Fleuret stated that Circle’s membership will help promote secure and dynamic growth within France’s and Europe’s digital asset industry.
Circle plans to bring its European operations and flagship products—EURC and USDC—under full regulatory oversight under the upcoming European Union Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework. Circle is already registered with the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) as a Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP) and has applied for an Electronic Money Institution license.
