TechFlow reports that BtcTurk, one of Turkey's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced it suffered a cyberattack on its platform on June 22. The attack affected partial balances of hot wallets for 10 cryptocurrencies, although the majority of assets are securely stored in cold wallets. BtcTurk stated its financial position is sufficient to cover the losses and user assets will not be impacted.
Currently, BtcTurk has suspended all cryptocurrency deposit and withdrawal operations while the team conducts a detailed investigation.
