TechFlow news — Forbes business reporter Eleanor Terrett posted on social media that she reached out to Consensys founder Joseph Lubin for his thoughts on the SEC's termination of its investigation into ETH and what this means for their lawsuit against the agency. Lubin stated the company still intends to move forward with the litigation:
"The SEC’s decision to end its 14-month investigation into Ethereum is a welcome development—but necessary, not sufficient. There must be better ways to regulate markets than raids.
We hope the hostile stance some U.S. regulators have taken toward cryptocurrency is beginning to subside, and that national investor protection strategies will evolve beyond today’s guerrilla tactics. Until then, we will continue our lawsuit against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Texas, as we remain committed to achieving greater legal clarity for everyone."
