TechFlow news, according to Jinshi Data, the Bank of America Global Fund Manager Monthly Survey shows investors firmly believe the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates at least twice within the next 12 months, with 84% of investors expecting a rate cut at some point in 2024.
33% of respondents anticipate two rate cuts by the Fed over the next 12 months, 31% expect three cuts, and 14% forecast more than three cuts. Only 8% think the Fed will not cut rates during this period.
In terms of timing, 39% of investors expect the Fed to cut rates in September, 16% in November, and 23% in December. Just 6% anticipate the earliest possible cut could come in July.
