TechFlow news: The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI), composed of SingularityNET, Fetch.ai, and Ocean Protocol, has postponed its token merger date to July 15.
Despite the delay, SingularityNET and ASI founder and CEO Ben Goertzel stated, "We might see human-surpassing superintelligence within a few years." The postponement is due to the need for further technical and logistical preparations. Fetch.ai CEO Humayun Sheikh explained:
"This temporary delay will not impact the progress we're making toward building a decentralized superintelligence network. The teams are working with exchanges to complete the remaining steps."
Goertzel also emphasized that the goal is to combine the strengths of the three major AI and blockchain projects to develop decentralized artificial general intelligence (AGI) and achieve human-surpassing superintelligence within a few years.
