TechFlow reported that OKX founder Star Xu responded on social media to recent security incidents reported by individual users, stating: "There has been no case at OKX where user fund loss occurred due to switching from GA to SMS. The no-authentication address was designed to meet API users' needs for automated withdrawals; imposing limits would not align with actual usage requirements, and the security verification process for adding a no-authentication address is at the same level as withdrawal authentication. We could consider introducing a mechanism for automatically expiring silent no-authentication addresses."
Star Xu emphasized full confidence in OKX's product security and reiterated that OKX will continue to fully compensate any fund losses caused by OKX itself.
