TechFlow news, according to Jinshi Data, economists at Bank of America said in a report that the Fed may hold interest rates steady next week, while expecting two rate cuts starting in September this year.
The bank stated, "Upcoming data should convince the Fed that the economy is cooling, but it needs more evidence of slowing inflation before cutting rates." This forecast aligns with market pricing based on CME data. Meanwhile, the European Central Bank cut rates as expected today, but some analysts detected a hawkish tone in the central bank's communication, suggesting further rate cuts may not be forthcoming.
