TechFlow reports that the Dfinity Foundation has announced the launch of a new API enabling Internet Computer smart contracts to read and write on any Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
The move aims to enhance interoperability, allowing dapps to benefit from cross-chain liquidity and simplifying API key management. The organization also stated that the Internet Computer will soon be able to interoperate with the Solana blockchain.
Dominic Williams, Chief Scientist and Founder of the Dfinity Foundation, believes the Internet Computer is the only third-generation blockchain capable of driving a new era of the internet.
