TechFlow reports that the Lens lab team has announced it is developing its own blockchain network, Lens Network. This new network will be built on Matter Labs' ZK Stack and utilize zkSync technology on Ethereum.
Lens Network aims to become a Web3-based social platform designed to address issues such as user data ownership, information censorship, freedom of speech, and the sale of personal data by a few large companies.
The network will launch in three phases: initially leveraging ZK compression technology on Ethereum; followed by introducing Validium chains supporting various social networking use cases; and ultimately combining Rollups and Validium into a Volition architecture to achieve both security and flexibility.
