TechFlow reports, according to the Snapshot governance page, the Floki community has initiated a proposal vote to burn 15,246,000,000 FLOKI (worth approximately $2,800,000), which will end at 3:12 AM Beijing time on May 16.
It stated that a portion of these tokens has already been sent back to Floki's multisig by an affected wallet, which has requested a small incentive. It is suggested to return 1% of the recovered tokens to the affected wallet and burn the rest, incentivizing other affected wallets to return excess tokens. Since the Floki DAO ultimately determines the project’s direction, it is recommended to burn the returned tokens, permanently removing them from circulation.
