TechFlow reports that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has filed documents in court opposing Coinbase's request to revise its cryptocurrency regulatory framework. The SEC argued that the existing legal framework is sufficient for addressing digital asset cases and that there is no need for a new regulatory regime. It also emphasized that there is not adequate economic justification to support creating new rules. In response, Coinbase's lawyer Paul Grewal stated they are confident the court will make the right determination.
