TechFlow reports that Particle Network's Testnet Phase 1 has surpassed 600,000 Universal Accounts in just seven days since launch. As a modular L1 blockchain enabling chain abstraction, Particle Network’s Universal Account on Testnet Phase 1 operates within a high-performance EVM execution environment, bridging major L1/L2 networks including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and BTC L2s. Through the Universal Gas Token, users can conduct cross-chain transactions across all supported chains without holding native tokens of each respective chain. To date, users have completed over 13 million cross-chain atomic transactions on Particle L1.
The testnet upgrade activated at block height 439944 has been successfully completed, paving the way for the upcoming Testnet Phase 2, which will introduce Universal Liquidity. With this release, users and developers will be able to seamlessly consolidate assets across chains via Universal Accounts on Particle Network, abstracting purchasing power distributed across multiple blockchains into a unified experience. This aims to address user and liquidity fragmentation challenges amid the current era of chain proliferation.
