TechFlow reported, according to Cointelegraph, that Thailand's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has announced a crackdown on deceptive cryptocurrency advertisements aimed at protecting crypto investors from misleading promotions. The Thai SEC stated it will urge all operating cryptocurrency exchanges to regulate their marketing practices and strictly adhere to relevant advertising standards. The SEC reminded exchanges to clearly disclose investment risks in their advertisements and refrain from attracting new users through special promotional schemes, warning that violators will be punished by law.
