TechFlow reported, Ahmad Shadid, founder and CEO of io.net, posted on social media that his team has blocked retaliatory attacks by banned airdrop hunters. This group attacked the io.net community by gaining unauthorized access to private device names and GPU models (referred to as the device metadata API).
All device data has been restored, and multiple security patches have been deployed to protect user device data via Okta Auth0 backend authorization. All existing devices need to be restarted to complete the update.
