TechFlow news: The Hong Kong Monetary Authority has launched the FiNETech series, bringing together around 100 banks, securities firms, insurance companies, and technology enterprises to explore advanced collaborations in wealth tech, insurtech, green tech, artificial intelligence, and distributed ledger technology. Over the next six to twelve months, the HKMA will expand fintech cooperation through the FiNETech series, including: continuing to collaborate with co-organizing institutions, industry associations, and market experts via follow-up FiNETech events, focusing on developments in artificial intelligence (including generative AI), distributed ledger technology, and green tech; and driving substantial progress in the adoption of fintech among banks and other financial institutions.
