TechFlow news, according to Coindesk, cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has acquired TradeStation Crypto, the digital asset-focused division of online brokerage firm TradeStation, to expand its regulatory licensing footprint in the United States.
A Kraken spokesperson confirmed that Kraken recently purchased TradeStation's crypto business. The transaction is part of broader efforts to accelerate operations in the U.S. and will bring further growth and new product opportunities for Kraken in the American market. The company declined to disclose the purchase price, and the acquisition had not been previously announced.
