TechFlow News — Avalon, a cryptocurrency gaming studio, has raised $10 million in funding led by Bitkraft Ventures and Hashed, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Spartan Capital, Foresight Ventures, LiquidX, and Momentum6.
The studio plans to launch a massively multiplayer online game called Avalon. In a statement, the company said it is collaborating with "AI pioneers Didimo and Inworld AI" to develop the game.
Sean Pinnock, CEO and founder of Avalon, said: "The Avalon universe prioritizes delivering immersive gameplay experiences by combining cutting-edge technologies like Unreal Engine 5 with an AI-assisted user-generated content system. We're focused on no-code solutions that enable players to easily create game logic. Additionally, our upcoming NFT collection will introduce AI-driven avatar NFTs."
Players will be invited to participate in a closed early access version of Avalon, set to launch later this year.
